Ngatapa's First Dog Trial ...

The first sheep dog trial ever to be held in the Ngatapa district was held last month by the newly-formed Ngatapa Sheep Dog Trial Club on the properties of Messrs A. Box and J. D. Jobson, near Cook's Gardens.

Entries were so numerous that the meeting had to be extended to three days.
