Sixteenth Club 'Do'

The sixteenth annual Cosmopolitan Club get-together for its senior members (those whose years are sixty or more) was held in the club lounge on May 1. A very enjoyable afternoon was staged, with the club turning on the drinks and entertainment.

Mr Harold Kennedy (left), who has been compere for the past 15 years the get-together has been staged, has retired from doing the job and looks forward to an afternoon of relaxation with Mr Bob Sloane (right). At back is Mr Bill Gardiner, who is carrying on as compere.

Mr Tom Moloney got the 'do' away to a good start with old time medleys on the piano. Part of the large number of members at the function included.
