From Mrs G. T. Allcock of 9 Cook Street, a past pupil of the school comes this old photo of the school's bell and tower taken in the 1920s. The actual stand is no longer there and neither are the summer houses on each side of it, but that won't detract from the enjoyment of those who will be attending the celebrations.

From Mrs G. P. Crone, Lytton Road, comes this photo of some of the boys of the 3rd Gisborne Boys' Brigade Company pictured at the International Camp at Tomoana, Hastings, with some Wellington friends. Nearly 1000 officers and boys attended the camp, coming from as far away as Britain, Ireland, Singapore, Australia and the Pacific Islands. Back row: Rodney Norman and Peter Crone of Gisborne and Bruce Murdoch and Malcolm Smith of Wellington. Middle row: Andrew Hamilton, Gisborne, on the right. Front row: Shaun Fahey and Jeffrey Whitfield, second and fourth from left.
