Big Fish... Big Boost

A big boost for the whole club and a great thrill in particular for Bill Cooper came about when Bill landed the first striped marlin to be caught by a member of the Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club. A two-hour fight on a 501b breaking strain line took place when the fish was hooked off Ariel Reef. With the great help of his son Ian, Bill Cooper secured the fish which then had to be tow-ed back to the clubhouse and weighed.
