Cobham National Winners

At a special assembly of the classes, Cobham School was informed by-the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker, that the combined effort of Standards 1 and 2 had won the National Anti-Litter Contest. They were the winners out of 250 entries throughout the country and received $100 from the National Headquarters. Their entry was in the form of a book which contained stories and articles written by the children, and illustrated with a high standard of artwork.
