Travel Award to Watties

The National Travel Association (Gisborne Branch) Travel Enterprise Award was this year awarded to J. Wattie Canneries for their work in bringing the attention of New Zealanders to the Gisborne area, and particularly for their conducted tours of the company's plant. The manager, Mr Arthur Leeves, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
