Activity Day

The Poverty Bay Spinners, Weavers and Woolcrafts Association staged a very interesting demonstration and display of spinning and weaving in the War Memorial Hall on August 17. Several large displays drew much attention and admiring interest, while the Sales tables did brisk business.

During the day visitors to the hall were ahle to observe members of the association demonstrating various facets of their art. Shown during one of the morning sessions are, from left. Mesdames M. Johansen. S. Wawatai. J. Richardson. H. Kain, A. Burgess and J. Berry.
