Y.F.C Social

The lady members of the Gisborne branch of the Young Farmers Club organised a very jolly dinner and social for the visiting Australian Rural Youth exchangee. Dianne Abbey, from Frankland, which is 240 miles south-east of Perth. Dianne works as a secretary in Perth but sometimes manages to get home to the family farm for weekends.

Annual Course

The Y.F.C. also held its annual club leadership course during the first weekend in August. This included debating, meeting procedures, etc., and an excellent talk and exhibits on the use of wool and skins by Mr Trevor White.
