Twentieth Title

Alan Parkinson extended his remarkable harrier career triumphs when he took his twentieth senior cross-country title at the Gisborne Harrier Club championships on July 14. He took up the pace from the outset to out-run his opponents and finish the 12,000 metres in 44mins 48secs. All told, Alan Parkinson has amassed almost 100 titles throughout his running career.
