Mr and Mrs R. Heyworth, formerly of Gisborne, and now of Hamilton, who celebrated their silver wedding anniversary recently. Both Mr and Mrs Heyworth were prominent in business, musical, and church activities in Gisborne before moving to Hamilton, where Mr Heyworth is with H. & J. Court, Ltd.

Mrs H. W. Williams, Lytton Road, who celebrated her eighty-ninth birthday recently, when she was the recipient of many good wishes. Mrs Williams is the widow of the late Bishop H.W. Williams, Bishop of Waiapu, who was third in the remarkable father-and-son relationship with this diocese. His grandfather, William Williams, was the first Bishop of Waiapu, and his father, Leonard Williams, also held this office.

A retirement presentation was made recently to Mr A. Reeves, Mechanical Overseer, Ministry of Works, Gisborne, after 28 years of service. Mr Roberts, resident engineer, is shown making the presentation to Mr and Mrs Reeves.

For the first time in 34 years, all six members of the family of Mrs M. Gear, 325 Gladstone Road, were together again. The occasion was the wedding of Mrs Gear's grandson, Mr R. Moiser, to Miss Jean Wilson.
