In the Army Hall

The fate of about 200 badminton and indoor basketball players, not to mention a number of the district's larger social functions, was again hanging in the balance last month. The threat: that the Army might start using this fine hall as a garage for its vehicles. The matter was taken up by the Chamber of Commerce, as a result of which it appeared in mid-month that the threat might be averted.
