Host Team Wins Pool Contest
The first annual mini-pool champion pairs' contest was recently held in the River Bar of the Albion Hotel. Hotels, clubs and other organisations put forward their own champions and some exciting shots were witnessed throughout the day's play-off.
The eventual winners were Kani Hei and Terry Ward of the River Bar Social Club (left), who are pictured with Brian Ancrum (secretary and Lion Beer representative) and Mike Vita, who supplied the tables, and donated two handsome cues for the winners
