Manutuke Carnival

The Manutuke School staged a very successful carnival day recently where a considerable sum was raised towards school funds. A band to lead the procession, spinning wheels, hangi lunch and numerous stalls all contributed to the success of the day.

Phillip Nepia won first prize for the best decorated bike.

The prize for the best decorated trike went to Crispin Bridge.

The best pram was won by Delwyn Pardoe.

Mr Stan Pardoe leads his young son, Le Roy, during the procession.

Enjoying ice-creams and sweets are Catherine and Bobbie Crawford and Michelle Mihaka.
