Colourful Show

The mixture of soft and vibrant colours was one of the noticeable features of the Horticultural Society's Dahlia Show, held in the Archery Club Hall. The other was the outstanding perfection of the champion bloom "My Doris," a giant decorative, grown by Mr Harry Mettrick, of Napier. The Mettricks have been attending the dahliashow for the past five years.
