Minister Welcomed

Members of the Associated Church of Christ gave their new minister, Mr Ross Beadle, and his wife, a very warm public welcome at the Church, on February 1. Mayor Harry Barker attended the gathering and welcomed Mr and Mrs Beadle on behalf of the city. The Beadles have come from Nelson and have one young son, Warwick.

As the church has been without a regular minister for the past half year or so, senior elder Mr A. W. Hall has been filling in during the interim. To show their appreciation, the congregation made him a presentation. This was given on their behalf by Mr Jim Powell (left).
