Hitting the Big Time

Colourful entertainer Mae Peneha, 31-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Junior Peneha, appeared earlier this month at the Albion Hotel's River Bar for a short season. Mac, who took up professional entertaining only three months ago after doing parttime entertaining around Auckland for three years, has recently signed a recording contract. He was born and bred in Whatatutu, and is also to tour Australia later this year.
