With the passing recently of Hori Karaka Tamihana, of Tolaga Bay, we record the final chapter of his long association with this magazine through his popular series, known as Hori's Page. He is pictured, second from right, with two of his four surviving brothers, Ropata (Bob) on his right, and Atarea (Hewa) on his left. Another brother, the late Hurari (Julian) is first from the left. Hori and Julian were both educated at Te Aute College, in Hawke's Bay.

Miss S. Little, a resident of Dunblane for the past eight years, and a resident of Gisborne for many years, celebrated her 93rd birthday in December. Miss Little is the daughter of the late Mr James Little, a well known pioneer farmer of Kumeroa, near Woodville.
