Xmas Past

The Spirit of Christmas Past is not nearly as strong as the Spirit of Christmas Present (sic). However, it's only eleven more months until the next time, so here are some pictures to jag your memory in case you think it is miles away yet!

The Kaiti Playcentre children had a great Christmas party with Mr Santa Claus doing the honours.

Mother Christmas had a hard time of it too, helping out with the Christmas gifts. (No prizes for guessing who.)

The Elgin Playcentre children were others who also had a good time.

A bright afternoon concert and party was enjoyed very much by the youngsters at the Kahutia Street School.

Trainees, parents, staff and friends of the Donnelly Training Centre enjoyed a pre-Christmas dance in St Mary's Hall. A wow of a time was had by everyone and the dancers are pictured here with Santa, soon after his arrival.

The children of the staff of J. Wattie Canneries were also visited by Santa Claus when they held their Christmas party. Boy, did Santa have a busy time last year!

He even had time to call on the youngsters at the Cochrane Street Kindy, to hand out presents and wish everyone a very happy Christmas.
