Keeping in Step

The local marching championships were held in Gisborne on December 9 and the Hawke's Bay Centre championships were held on the 10th. Some very precise work was displayed by many of the teams, while the street march on the first day created a lot of interest.

The Orange Grovettes were runners-up in the midget grade on both days, with their leader, Lavinia Hiroki, taking the champion leader title, also on both days. The team also gave the best Gisborne Team Display on the first day.

The Corsonaires were selected to take part in the North Island championships. They, too, are pictured taking part in the street march on the first day.

The Konrad Q Zetes were the Best Gisborne Senior Team, and the Best Gisborne F and I in the local champs on the first day.
