Have a Happy Holiday — and a Safe One

The Health Department's theme, this month, for Safety In The Home, is keeping health risks to, not the minimum, but zero! Elementary precautions taken before and during the festive season will go a long way to ensuring a happy holiday, whether at home or away.

Enjoy the sun, but don't burn.

Keep those filthy flies under control. Flies don't differentiate between your food and animal droppings etc., with their dirty, hairy legs and regurgitating habits. Use a safe, when camping, in a cool shady place.

Use those life jackets, and Never overload your boat

Funerals are such fun at Christmas time, aren 't they? If it's not uncontrolled speed that kills, what is it? Clear vision is also all-important
