Safe at Speed

Prior to the opening of the speedway season, the new alterations and additions to the track at Awapuni were inspected by the assistant Stipendary Steward of the Speedway Control Board, Mr Barney Duncan. Measurements of the track were checked to ensure specific safety standards before cars and bikes were allowed to race on the tracks.
