Mobil Final
The Gisborne group "Wave" did outstandingly well to reach the final of the group section in the Mobil Song Quest of 1972. "Wave" appeared with three other groups in the new Christchurch Town Hall, before a capacity audience. The group, whose two numbers were "Pretty World" and "Night And Day," is, from left, Andy Pritchard, David White, Jim Nicklin, Noel Bell, Bobbie Bell and Melody Sherwood.
