The Big Splash

It was a great day for the pupils of the Waimata Valley School, on October 6. On that day, the school's new swimming pool was opened by Mr Brian Bull, of the Hawke's Bay Education Board. The pool was the result of extra hard work by the pool committee, whose members were Messrs Dan Broad, Gerrard Watson and John Wright.
