A Social Event

An evening of socialising, music, conversation and dancing was held by the Gisborne branch of the N.Z. Nurses Association to raise funds in support of the C. L. Bailey Nursing Education Trust established in Wellington recently. The Trust aims to raise $50,000 to provide financial support for a lectureship in nursing studies at Victoria University, and for bursaries for nurses studying at any university in New Zealand.

Special guests for the evening were Professor A. E.
