Good For The Eye, But What About The Figure?
A competition was run by General Foods and Openshaw's Supermarket, recently, to see who could turn out the best pie, using Irvines' Pastry. The results looked absolutely delicious
A party of 14 South Koreans were the guests of Rotary West, during a recent weekend. The Koreans, who are on a nine-month farm working course in the central Waikato, were billeted in Gisborne. While here, visits were organised for them to Common Shelton & Co.'s grain drying plant, and to Corban's new winery, where they are pictured with their hosts.
The eventual winner, Mrs Single, was presented with her prize by Supermarket manager Mr Jack Openshaw.
Some of the scrumptious entries. (Dunstan & Kinge).
