Tip Top Function

Once again, the Sportsmen's Dinner, organised to raise funds for the Crippled Children Society, proved to be a sparkling occasion.

Richard Clarke, top croquet player of the country, was announced the winner of the Sportsman's Trophy, from two other candidates.

Richard's father, Mr Rua Clarke (left), accepts the trophy from Mr Paul Sceats of Leopard Breweries, sponsors of the trophy. Richard is now a trainee teacher at Ardmore College.
