Rock Reviver

Rock veteran Johnny Devlin, on a rock revival tour of New Zealand, spent a season at the Sandown Park Motor Hotel where he entertained in the packed Sundowner Lounge for several nights. He was backed there by the resident group, The Crescendos, who are, from left, Sam Taiapa (drums), David Priestly (bass), John Matete (lead guitar), Paddy Lee (rhythm guitar), Doug Walsh (vocalist) and John Campbell (organ).
