No Smoke, No Fire

The Te Karaka Volunteer Fire Brigade wasn't bothered by smoke nor fire on the occasion of its annual cabaret and presentation of service medals, recently. A great evening was had by all and Te Karaka really swung that night.

The occasion was also the celebration of Jim Mackie's 21st, and the brigade supplied the cake which Jim and his wife duly cut with ceremony – or a knife.
