Social Night For Seascouts
A very enjoyable social night for the Tainui Sea Scouts was held in the Scout Hall, Carnarvon Street, recently. Fathers and friends were invited to dinner by the Scouts and Cubs of the group and a delicious meal was enjoyed by all. After dinner a film show was held.
During the evening Mrs M. V. Blumfield was presented with the Medal of Merit by the Turanga District Commissioner, Mr C. J. Chamberlain. Mrs Blumfield has given 25 years of service to Scouting
