Lytton Athletics

Showers did not deter the sporting spirit at the Lytton High Athletic Sports this year. Competition was keen in the events which were held on the school grounds on February 25.

Breaking the tape to create a new time of 64.4 secs for the Senior girls' 400 metres championship is Gillian File.

Ending up as champs on the day are, from left, Roger Clark (Senior Boys), Philip Hobbs (Intermediate Boys), Neville Quigley (Junior Boys), Judith Crosby (Junior Girls), Judith Wicks and Leigh Mills (Intermediate Girls equal), and Gillian File (Senior Girls).
