From Mr Reg Kelly, 210 Kahutia Street, we have the four generations in his family. Sitting is Mr Kelly (great-grandfather), at back of him is son Eric Kelly of Napier, and formerly of Grafton Road, at left is grandson Gary Kelly, also of Napier, and in front are great-grandsons Le Warne and D. Arcy Kelly.

The Edward Murphy Maternity Home is due to close shortly. Rising costs are said to be making this maternity hospital uneconomical to run. The home has been giving service to Gisborne for more than 50 years.
