Blow-Up!

As part of the promotion for the "Escapades '72" show, Noel Oliver, one of the world's top stuntmen, was placed in a coffin which was then blown to bits with gelignite, in Alfred Cox Park. The stuntmen, who are in New Zealand to do a television series this year, also showed how to be hit, and dragged by a car, and not get hurt.
