Children from country schools had a great time at the summer camp organised by Father Bugler The week-long camp was held at the Waihirere Marae where the children slept in the meeting-house, had two lessons daily, did lots of singing and had more swims than they care to remember. They are pictured here on the last day of camp, singing happy birthday to Tricia Hoe, who is standing in front of Father Bugler, at right. Three of the Sisters who helped with the children are, from left, Sisters Eugene, Bernadette and Katherine.
