Fifteen gorgeous girls entered this year's Miss Gisborne Beach Girl contest, conducted by Radio 2ZG. The contest was held before the usual giant crowd at the Waikanae Sound Shell on New Year's Day. Popular winner of the event was our cover girl, Anita Lam, who is pictured with, from left, 2ZG radio station manager Ian Vernazoni, Lesley Wilson (second), compere Bruce Burn and Kate Parker (third).
