Grace And Strength

The ability to combine grace and strength, particularly in the ankles, makes a good skater. There appear to be plenty of youngsters, especially, in that category if the Gisborne Skating Club's championships were anything to go by this year. The judges had a very difficult task sorting out the winners in the championships which took place on Saturday, November 20.

Third placegetter in the Senior Open Freestyle was Johan Gillies.
