Open Evening For Cubs

The Kelvin Cub Group staged an open evening for parents and friends at the Scout Hall in Carnarvon Street on November 6. Guests for the evening also were the Aranga Brownies.

Games, demonstrations and items were all on the three-hour programme, which was most interesting.

In this sequence, From Left, we have some shots of the boys taking part in "drink the water, swallow the biscuit and whistle" game. If you think that's easy, just try it some time! From left: Stephen Donnelly hands out the biscuits; Nigel Kane chews away, and Nigel Hamblyn gets round the whistling the easy way.
