Overseas Judge

The Malaysian Ambassador to New Zealand, Mr Lim Taik Choon, visited the city recently as guest speaker to the Gisborne Jaycee Chapter. While here, the ambassador also judged the Jaycee Student Art Display and Competition in the library. Selected works from the competition will be used in an exchange of art between Gisborne and Malaysian schools.

Photographs of Malaysia, and Malaysian arts and crafts were also on display at the library.
