Each dressed in one of the colourful changes of costume they will wear in "The King And I" are John Speakman and Lois Ballantyne. This lavish musical is due on the boards at the War Memorial Hall from October 25 to 30, and more about the show is on pages 8 and 9.

Back cover.The wet sands of the beach at Tolaga Bay reflect the massive cliffs at the south end of the bay. This is a popular bathing beach, with the wharf providing suitable fishing possies for young and old.
