Yo Ho For The Yo-Yo …But No Rum

Plenty of Coca-Cola though, as lads and lassies threw yo-yo's about in all directions in the Yo-Yo competition. For three weeks the Colombian, Gilberto Zuluaga, was in the city, giving yo-yo demonstrations and holding heats for the area final which was held on September 24, at Woolworths. Lots of fun for the large crowd watching, but a bit nervewracking for the contestants.
