Tricky Turnout

Guests at the Post Office Ladies' Club's Husband's Night were treated to a very good act when seven Mrs Mopps trooped on stage and sang a number of bright, cheery songs with, of course, the appropriate actions. The item was fully appreciated, and you'd go a long way to find a group in better harmony than this.

The performers in their tricky turnout are, from left, Helen Grant, Joyce Moles, Mary Braithwaite, Judy Funnell, Flora Cochrane, Beth Bloxham and Jan Halliwell.

Guest artist for the evening was "Dolly" Harrison, who sang "Hello Dolly," then did a quick change to come back on stage, dressed very French, to sing a saucy French song.
