The judging between this bloom and Mr G. T. Johnson's seedling was difficult, with very few points separating the flowers.
For the third year in succession Mr R. C. A. Tombleson's seedling "Valpeen" has won the champion bloom award at the P.B. Horticultural Society's Daffodil and Spring Flower Show. A very well-formed flower of good substance, it has pure white petals and a rich, creamy-lemon trumpet.
