Car Club Awards

The Gisborne Car Club held a very successful presentation cabaret to wind up the car club year. The trophies were presented by the president and his wife, Mr and Mrs Basil Kendrew. (Pics by Dunstan & Kinge).

Receiving the H. S. Motors Cup for the 750-1100cc saloon Hill Climb is Hans Kwak.

Trevor Barker won the Lodge & Kemp Cup for the 1101-1500cc modified saloons.

The Gisborne Car Club trophy for 1101-1500cc Sports and Specials went to Stephen Clare.

Owen Pinching took the Field Cup for quarter mile sprint (1501-2000cc saloons).

Bob Moriarty won the Kwak Cup for 750-1100cc modified saloons.

Margaret Thompson and Alison Burborough won the Ladies' points cup
