The big bake-off

The big Bata bun bake-off for Brownies, nation wide and coast to coast, was held throughout the country recently. The Gisborne-East Coast section finals were held in the cooking room of the Ilminster Intermediate School and the finalists were Fiona Cameron and Kathy Sharp (Manutuke), Sandra Wood and Susan Kerr (Wairoa) Gillian Toye and Kerry Franklin (Mangapapa), and Marie McCarthy and Margaret Edge (Tokomaru Bay).
