Seek... ...and Find

That is what the Search and Rescue Organisation does for those who get lost, or in difficulties, especially in the mountains or bush country.

The Search and Rescue Organisation held a very successful display and demonstration on August 29. A static display of equipment used, and organisations involved, in rescue operations was held on the corner of Derby Street and Childers Road, while a live demonstration of rescue work by an Air Force Iroquoi helicopter was given in Alfred Cox Park.
