Gisborne City Trounces Wellington City

Five to one Victory.

The large crowd at the Childers Road Reserve were entertained to a fast-moving game in the National League match on August 1.

The home team turned the tables in this game, as on the last occasion that they played Wellington City (early May) Gisborne lost by the same score, five to one! Since that game however, Gisborne City haven't lost any games in the National League series.

This game was preceeded by two others, Poverty Bay Under 14, and Poverty Bay Under 16, against respective Hawkes Bay teams.
