Social Welcome for Lions Buffet at Sandown

On the Monday night after their arrival the touring Lions were accorded an official welcome by the Poverty Bay Rugby Union at a special function at the Sandown Park Motor Hotel.

The function gave local rugby people an opportunity to meet the visitors and welcome them to the city.
