Donna Takes Title

Veteran Men's To Bob Jackson

Donna Kane defeated J. Brown of Hawkes Bay 21-11, 21-9, to win the under-18 girls' singles title at the Poverty Bay table tennis championships. She also defeated J. Higgins 21-17, 21-10, to win the ladies' bracelet.

The still brilliant former champ, Bob Jackson, displayed the master's touch to take the veteran men's singles, the men's doubles with Kevin Low, and the mixed doubles with his wife Mary.
