Getting Down the Gloves

The boxing gloves have come down for another season and interest in the manly art is greater than ever with nearly 200 boys attending boxing lessons this year.

The Gisborne Boxing Association held its first tournament for the season on April 29. Fifty fights were listed for the evening.
