They Took The Pledge
Two general nurses and three community nurses received their medals and scrolls when they took the Florence Nightingale Pledge at the recent Cook Hospital School of Nursing Graduation Ceremony. Guest speaker was Jay eee president Les McGreevy.

Prizewinners at the ceremony were, from left, Community Nurses Mary Tuari and Kerry Hobbs, joint winners of the Laing Memorial Trophy (for care, kindness and understanding of the aged), Nurse Sandra Carmine (Hall cup for general efficiency, second year nurse), and Nurse Carol Collins (Bunt Rose Bowl for best practical nurse).
