Air Scouts Get Around -On The Ground
The Te Hapara Air Scouts haven't been letting the grass grow under their feet, so to speak.
Recently they took a day trip to Tuahine point to see the old lighthouse. It was observed from these perches on the mainland, which are in actual fact rock strata in the cliff face.
Some of the Scouts went to Christchurch early in the new year to attend an aeronautical camp. After the camp, as if that wasn't enough, they went on a camping trip around the South Island. They arc pictured here on one of their stops. From left, Keith Hughes, John Ford, John Fleming, Rex Maurirere, Stan Wilson. Absent: David Garrett.
